They say
"You Should Never Judge a Book by its Cover"
Well you shouldn't. You never know what people had been through. You never know what obstacles they have faced. All you know is what they tell you, and it's up to you to believe it or not. The books with the ugliest covers can have the most beautifully descriptive sentences and the most fluent diction. You wouldn't know unless you gave it a chance. Give some books a chance, and those books will be the ones who motivate you to living a better life. 
This is so true! Everyone hears this saying and its just in one ear and out the other, but if you stop and really think about it, there is so much more to it. My first impression of my best friend was that she was an uptight know-it-all but when we were stuck together in gym class a year later we were inseparable ever since.
